I love basketball. And I love helping others. I could not imagine my life without either.

Basketball is more than just a game. It has made me into who I am today.

It has taught me how to overcome adversity. It has instilled in me a deep sense of discipline, character, confidence and teamwork.

As the State of Iowa’s all-time leader in scoring, assists, and three-pointers, I have found the strength to trust myself. I’ve learned I can and will overcome hard things.

I may not be large in stature, but with my heart I know I am capable of anything I set my mind to.
